Our research pro­grams cover a di­verse spec­trum including analytical, inorganic, organic, physical, biological, polymers, materials, nanoscience, theoretical, and magnetic resonance.

Essential Job Duties

The Department of Chemistry at NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY is seeking to fill a tenure track faculty position in the area of Physical Chemistry. This is an open rank search. Of particular interest are individuals who are using experimental and/or theoretical approaches to develop innovative interdisciplinary programs in applications to complex chemical and biological systems. Preference will be given to candidates whose research interests complement existing programs in the Department, College of Sciences, and University.

Other Work/Responsibilities

Successful candidates are expected to establish a nationally and internationally recognized research program and to demonstrate strong interests and abilities in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels

Minimum Education/Experience

Candidates must possess a PhD and post-doctoral experience in Chemistry or a related scientific field to be considered for this position.
