Essential Job Duties

A Lead Teacher plans and implements developmentally appropriate activities for the children in his/her care, provides a safe and nurturing environment for the children and cares for their basic needs.

Minimum Experience/Education

They should be at least 18 years of age and qualify as a lead teacher through the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education. Need early education experience!

The NC Division of Child Development requires anyone working with children to have a current fingerprinted background check.

They should be at least 18 years of age and qualify as a lead teacher through the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education.

Required License or Certification

Must have a current fingerprinted background check through the NC Division of Child Development or be willing to obtain one.

Will also need a current TB test (which can be coordinated if you do not have one).
