Essential Job Duties

Provide administrative support to office and/or department personnel.

Other Work/Responsibilities
Minimum Experience/Education
Departmental Required Skills

Responsible for managing projects, opening and distributing mail, organizing files and conducting general research. Also may be in charge of ordering office supplies and communicating with vendors. Other tasks include the following:

Drafting documents and correspondence
Preparing reports
Providing telephone support

Must possess excellent typing skills, strong oral and written skills and the ability to communicate well with others. Must be able to work independently or on a team.

Knowledge of computers, databases, software and word processing programs is a must. Able to operate general office equipment, such as a copy machine, fax machine, multi-line telephone system and scanner.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

Minimum of 2 years in an administrative role. Higher Education experience preferred. PeopleSoft experience preferred.
