Essential Job Duties

Assist with various aspects of IMLS-funded research on library publishing and open educational resources (LG-72-17-0051-17). Duties include conducting surveys using Qualtrics, collating survey responses, transcribing audio recording, data cleaning, communicating with production staff. Other duties as assigned.

Departmental Required Skills

Current graduate student status with strong writing skills, ability to pay attention to detail, and work carefully and independently.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

Understanding of open educational resources and publishing; experience with transcription technology; digital production or data analysis experience. Knowledge of data cleaning, ability to convert data from Excel into other formats and visualizations is preferred. Current enrollment in a graduate program in Library Science or Public History is highly preferred.
