Essential Job Duties

Fine Dining and Banquet Staff provide exemplary guest service through all forms of banquet service duties which could include but not be limited to: carving stations, running food during events, buffet stations, plating, replenishing product and supplies.

Other Work/Responsibilities

Ensures guests receive courteous, professional service at all times.

Ensure exemplary guest service through all forms of banquet service, carving stations, running food during events, buffets, plated, replenishing product and supplies in compliance with event standards.

Ensure that events are properly equipped and executed by transporting, pulling, setting up and breaking down, as well as returning equipment to designated storage in compliance with event standards and instructions.

Perform side work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment.
Clean, organize and restock equipment/product returning from catering events.

Understand safety responsibilities as well as environmental laws by following established procedures, policies, training and involvement activities.
Takes initiative to.

Remains attentive to the customers throughout the entire dining experience, adhering to or exceeding service standards at all times

Perform other duties that could be assigned.

Minimum Experience/Education

Must be able to obtain a positive work reference for that employment.

Departmental Required Skills

Minimum of 1 year working in a fine dining restaurant, or on a banquet staff.

Must be able to work a flexible shift that includes nights, weekends and holidays

Able to stand and or walk for the majority of the work day.

Punctuality and consistent attendance.

Must be able to read and understand simple instructions, memos and short correspondence.

Must be able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers, members of the business community, etc with a courteous attitude.

Must be able to make independent decisions.

Must be willing to do a training session before starting.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

- Ability to work on a set scheduled time line.
- Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds.
