Essential Job Duties

A postdoc in the general area of software systems. The position will help us complete the research project titled “Data Locality Enhancement of Dynamic Simulations for Exascale Computing”, sponsored by the Department of Energy USA.

Doing research on high performance machine learning.

Writing papers and proposal related with the topic.

Other Work/Responsibilities

Conduct research in high performance data analytics/machine learning, including writing papers, proposals, and completing required research investigations

Minimum Experience/Education

Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g., M.D., D.V.M., Sc.D.) in appropriate field awarded no more than five (5) years from initial date of postdoctoral appointment.

Departmental Required Skills

Have a Ph.D. or going to receive a Ph.D. by August 2017 in Computer Science or related areas. Excellent oral and written communication skills. We are interested especially in researchers who have had experiences in compilers and GPU, and some background on machine learning or data mining.
