Essential Job Duties

The Student Assistant works alongside library staff to provide patrons with library services from the Ask Us service point. Students will answer queries, check out materials, assist with technology, and help patrons throughout the D. H. Hill Library. Work schedule is primarily based on availability but may include weekends and evenings. Some moderate lifting, up to 30lbs, may be required.

Other Work/Responsibilities
Minimum Experience/Education

Currently-enrolled student.

Departmental Required Skills

Basic to advanced customer service experience.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

Basic technological skills preferred including an awareness of most recent technologies.
