Essential Job Duties

The Penn 4-H Center provides day and overnight programs to elementary, middle, and high school students on our 220 acres. Program staff provide instruction for programs in environmental science and cultural history, facilitate ground initiatives, team challenge course and high ropes activities, and provide leadership for GPS based science programs. This is a seasonal position that ends in late May with possibilities for continued employment during our summer camp program and fall educational programs.

Private room in staff house and meals when working also provided.

Other Work/Responsibilities
Minimum Experience/Education

-Degree in a related field or 2 years experience working with youth.

Departmental Required Skills

-Must be at least 21 years of age
-Must have a love for working with kids
-Must have an interest in experiential education
-Must have an enthusiasm for hard work and a ton of patience

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

-Previous work in a camp setting is a plus
